Modern composite pools

The progress of modern equipment and production technologies allows to significantly diversify the complex of water procedures, introduce new functions and properties of materials. Thanks to them, even a simple bath can turn into a real pleasure. One of the latest types of swimming pool production technology - composite swimming pools - is rapidly gaining popularity.

What is a composite?

The word "composite" (from Latin Compositus - composite, made up of several elements) began to be used in industry and technology already at the end of the 19th century, when research and production of composite materials began in order to create lighter and stronger structures and to give materials unique properties.

A composite is a composite material consisting of two or more layers of different materials, which, being separate, do not have the same properties that they acquire when joined together. Traditional composite materials include fiberglass, carbon fiber, ceramics, wood, plastics, metals, epoxy resin , etc. Fiberglass composites have become common in the production of modern swimming pools   and ceramic composites.

Properties of composite pools

Exceptional durability and strong construction, perfectly resistant to cold, weather changes and temperature fluctuations. A special gel layer creates a shiny surface layer of the pool body. Particularly resistant to long-term effects of chloride and its compounds and UV rays from the sun.

The structure of the pool is reinforced with a metal layer, which ensures the durability and longevity of the pool body. The composite pool is made with an additional outer layer of polyurethane foam , which effectively protects the body and significantly reduces heat loss, and thus its operating costs.

Fiberglass pools and ceramic pools are perfectly suited to Lithuanian seasonal climate conditions. As a rule, installation and connection of the pool at the facility takes only a few days.

Purpose of composite pools

Pools of this type are quite universal and suitable for most construction and water facilities: for private swimming pools, small public swimming pools, sports and wellness centers, rehabilitation clinics, hotels, sanatoriums, clinics, etc.
